Song for the Dead

from Prometheus by [U-D-R]

/

about

This was a song I'd written during the time I was home in 2004 between my initial deployment and the 90+ day extension we were given.

lyrics

•Verse 1
Why am I here in this place, no one has the answers.
Even though I'm trapped down here, stranded in the cold.

•Chorus
One last call for victory, we all dance in harmony.
There are things you should have said, it's too late now, for the dead.

•Bridge
It's too late late now, it's too late now.
Far too long, for the dead.

•Verse 2
I seek the truth within the sand, there are no more answers.
I hold my life within my hands, stranded by society.
